Good idea!
It might be a start--why not? They overcharge for Mexican food anyway--it's mostly tortillas (super cheap) and beans (super cheap) with a little meat thrown in. Besides, you can make Margaritas at home!

are you joking? the effect of US citizens boycotting mexican restaurants or anyone they think supports illegal immigration would have about as much effect as the "day without a mexican" boycott had.some people wouldn't care and would just go about their daily business.I mean didn't most on here preach about boycotting miller and tyson and other organizations who supported the mexican march, yet I have not seen any of those companies crumble and go bankrupt. And the reason for that is that people always enjoy getting drunk regardless of the beer they are drinking and people will buy food regardless of what support those companies offer to whomever.if you could probably get enough people together to boycott maybe there is a slim chance people would notice, other than that keep on dreaming.

Wouldn't work if we boycott Mexican restaraunts, but it would if we boycotted fast food. Trouble is, most illegal immigrants don't have "legit" jobs like that. They are usually working somewhere where they can get paid under the table in cash.

Most Mexican restaurants here where I live are family owned and operated. Were the family here illegally, it would be impossible for them to own this type of business. They employ very few outside their extended family and are just as disgusted by illegal immigrants as we are, if not more. Afterall, they played by the rules, waited in line, and immigrated here legally. They take it as a slap in the face when someone simply jumps the fence.

Well if you are going to boycott Mexican restaurants, you better include, hotels, motels, other restaurants, some grocery businesses and retail merchants who hire them to clean and stock their businesses, and maid services, construction companies, yard and landscapes businesses, and the list goes on and on. That is why these businesses need to be severely fined for hiring them.

Why not Australia restaurants, Chinese Restaurants, Japanese Restaurants, or any other restaurant that has any kind of a nationality behind it... I think that is ridiculous... the problem with illegal immigrants, granted is mainly Mexican, but an illegal immigrant is from any country..... we are a Country of immigrants that is what our country is.... no I don't believe in illegal immigration, and am completely against it.. but what would boycotting a restaurant do... that's for us as Americans, regardless of what country we are from to enjoy - it's nice to eat different stuff once in awhile... what would that do???
