The appraisals I have contacted want me to send them the flag . I do not want to do that.

It depends on the size and condition of the falg and if there on any markings on it. Try 1944militaria.com. Occasionally, he has original flags on there and it will give you a rough idea as to their value. I'd say an orginal battleflag with swastika and iron cross can fetch as much as 300-500 if it is a large Naval style. Condition is everything though.

it also depends on the military unit the flag is from..an SS flag will bring more than a standard party flag, Naval flags are also high priced
