i ran into this guy about 8 months ago and we really hit it off.I was still bitter about catching my ex of a few years cheating on me,he listened and understood(they r friends)he drove me home that night and i invited him to stay,i asked him to sleep in the bed with me,he did,i asked him to put his arm around me,he did till i slept,he was such a gentleman.the next morning things were awkward when he left,a mutual friend told me liked me but is freaked about my ex(who still wants me back)i saw thia guy a couple months after and he came to me and said"your killing me"my ex was also there so we had to keep quiet.I thought of him ever since.I saw him at a party a couple days ago and when he walked in he looked at me and looked away realy quick.later in the night we made small talk here andthere, and at the end of the night looked at eachother and smiled,it was like a connection we had for a minute. Then i left. Why has he never called to ask me out?My ex and him are not that good of friends.

He probably has feelings for you that he doesn't think will ever be returned and this makes him feel awkward. There is also the thing about being friends with your ex, even if they aren't best friends. He hasn't called because he doesn't know if it's the right thing to do and he might also be afraid that you'd be starting something on the rebound (although most guys wouldn't worry about this if they only wanted sex...so maybe that is a good thing). Give it some time and then try to run into him again at a place that your ex won't be.

I met my husband under similar circumstances. We were friends, I had a fight with my bf (also his friend) and spent the night with him. We just slept and there was no sex but eventually we did wind up together although we did eventually divorce.
