no really, im not trying to be perverse. you know how some cats like to be "tapped" real hard on their lower back half, why do you think they like that?

YES!!! My husband does this to my cat all the time. I don't know if your cat does this but my cat scoots to the edge of the couch and holds on for dear life. lol. If my husband stops patting her she will look at him all pissed and bite him so he'll pat her agian.
I have no idea why they like this, glad to know my cats not the only one! LOL.

My cats loved to be spanked. Most cats I know don't like it though. My first cat used to turn somersaults. He truly loved it. Couldn't begin to tell you why. I think to some it's just a sign of affection, but to others it just may feel good.

I have had cats who like that. My current kitten likes it. I guess they think it's playing because it makes him play - gets him fired up. He also likes it when I rub his head from front to back ears and all. He holds his ears back and squints his eyes in anticipation - so cute.

yes, failrly hard and fast like you pat a big dog? I have an old female that sometimes like that, she will try hook your hand and direct your hand till she gets patted hard and if you stop she tries to make you continue. Other times she just like to be stroked softly.
