I'm a twenty year old male and I just recently shaved down there. When the topic of pubic shaving comes up (usually as a joke) at work or school people laugh and tease me... why? I know its a personal choice but whats so funny about it that people tease? It's even worse when I'm honest and admit to being a little below average in size :( Thanks for your help

Hello Miky, No there is nothing wrong with shaving at all. I do it to be smooth and trust me the ladies will appreciate it to. I know a lot of us do not like a gents pubic hairs stuck in between our teeth while having fun. And as far as having this type of conversation with people at work or school; really this is not the topic of discussion for any place any time except between you and a lover. Your friends (wether at work or school) are just trying to push that subject along quicky and not discuss it since it is a personal matter. And they also do not want to hurt your feelings. No, don't be ashamed of it. It's your choice - if they don't like it, oh well. Also, it's a reversable choice, it will always grow back.
Who knows, the teasers may shave themselves too, but are too insecure to admit it, especially when the majority are teasing.

nothing wrong with being shaved down there, personal preference. all these people that are laughing either probably done it before or wish they had or will in the future so don't sweat it. as far as being below average size down there....so what some women like smaller guys...to me it's the whole poackage that matters not just the size of your manhood.

It's all about personal choice! If people make fun of you for things like this then don't tell them anything personal from now on. With things like this you'll find you'll learn the hard way. As for the shaving - I think it's alot cleaner.

Personally, I prefer when a man shaves. It's cleaner and makes everything look nicer. If you don't want your friends teasing you about it, then let it grow out a bit, and trim is very short. This also looks clean and well manicured. Good luck!

People are idiots, they will tease you no matter what. Either that or they will judge you. I shave down there too, it just seems cleaner to me and my partners appreciate it because there is no hair. Do whatever you feel like. You are going to be in a lot of trouble if you spend your life trying to do what others would have you do.

i think it is abnormal not to shave. who wants to have 1970s porn star hair going on? i prefer completely bald, smooth sack and shaft. some others like to leave a patch. at the very least a guy should be trimming. i know i wouldnt want to go down on a girl that has a bush in office, so to speak.

please when you speak about w/something in confidence you shouldnt get that reaction and if you do so what, or maybe keep it to yourself anyways as a girl I like it or atleast I think guys should trim it up and not be so gnarly looking w/two of my live in boyfriends at some point when they were in the shower I would end up going in there w/scissors and opening the curtain and saying hold on and helping them out alittle bit to get used to the idea usually they would leave maintaining up to me because they really didnt care one way or the other but again I like it, it also says something about you caring about yourself and others if anything your a step up, as far as girls I feel shame for them if I know they dont I mean I keep thinking why do women think a guy wants to look at the amazon or would be attracted to that please Good Luck

all ive got to say is that id beg my boyfriend to shave down there. men may think that its funny but honestly the ladies love it!! who wants to be down there if theres a jungle! about the size, dont worry about it, it doesn't matter the size it matters what you can do with what youve got!!!keep your head up and be confident! ladies love it, so piss on the men!

I like my men shaved down there and ppl are just silly somtimes dont say a word and keep to your self. Nothing wrong with shaving.
