The water at my school is drying out my skin. Whenever I get out of the shower I have dry spots on my face and arms. Usually I have pretty even skin, but the water at my school makes it extra dry. What can I do to help even this problem out?

Have a good lotion and put it on while you are still wet.

The school apparently has very hard tap water. Try using a moisturizing shower gel and then apply a moisturizing lotion immediately after showering. Or you might smooth some massage oil or baby oil into your skin before towel drying to help hydrate your skin.

I had that same problem.

Buy lotion. I would lotion my body in the morning and in the evening. On those really dry spots, try Eucerin cream, which is a very intense lotion.

I hate school water like that. Watch your hair--it'll fade the color quickly as well.

You may be allergic to the chlorine in the pool. OR -Try using a high quality moisturizer, such as Aveeno after your shower. OR- Try using baby oil before getting into the pool, this will help keep the chlorine from penetrating your skin.

Well, unless you can convince the school to get a water softener, there is really nothing you can do about the quality of the water. Just moisturize alot.

There's this product by Oil of Olay that moisturizes while in the shower. There's this other product by Warm Spirit that exfoliates and moisturizes in the shower called Juicy Glow. They have different fragrances. Their products are all-natural.

Use a moisturizer. The school water may be a harder water then what you have at home. Use soaps with moisturizers already in them.
