I'm learning boatloads of anatomy and kinesiology and standard massage techniques for dogs and cats because I intend on working with animals. I was wondering how many people would use a service like this where I'm headed after I get my license - Portland, OR. You guys have a strong dog community out there?

There is a definitely a strong dog community here, BUT Oregonians do not spend money, nor do they have money like the people in Calif or NY.... just something to keep in mind. There is a faction of the people where with extra disposable income, but it isn't very large, as Portland itself isn't a large city comparatively speaking.

I do not think you can make a good living by doing massage only. You will also need some other related businees such as grooming and maybe boarding dogs also.
