I think she should. I got my GED and got a little BBQ thrown by my sister. I'm glad she pushed me to get it because honestly without it I would really feel stupid.
Celebrate her achievment.
Congratulate her, even if it is just an ice cream party or a "come have nachos to celebrate" party. Let her know that she did good, she'll be happy she did.

She should go, or hold a party. So...YES.
I don't think your family should hold the party.
The school she goes to may hold a Grad. Party.
But if your parents are willing to clean up the mess, deal with the music, and can give out the refreshments, then go for it.
Don't hold it in your house because you never know what will happen! Maybe reserve a place in a hotel or somewhere.
=)

Passing the GED is an accomplishment to be celebrated. Yes, I think she should have a graduation party. Her age is irrelivant - it is her accomplishment that matters.

YES! I mean, she obviously did not get the fanfare of a graduation ceremony - so why not have a kind of Victory Graduation party for anyone who earns their GED.... NOVEL idea - GREAT! Idea.
I say go for it - and maybe get the trend to be a mainstay.

somebody sounds jealous......do you hate your sister? why the hell do you care so much? an accomplishment is an accomplishment regardless of what it is. do you think you're better than her? Let the girl celebrate and have a party for christ sake!

Why not? She achieved something you would have given her a party for anyway. Enjoy it and celebrate her.

HELL NO. she's stupid if she dropped out of high school and needs an extra 3 years to graduate. That's like rewarding a convict for getting out of jail. that's ridiculous. you don't want to spoil her. wait until she does something more spectacular, not something that even an ordinary person can do/should be doing.
