Have you had them cropped yet? If not, look at the outside of the ear. If there is an indented fold, these ears have a tendancy to not stand correctly. Also, make a strange noise and look at your dog's ears. If he/she tries to raise their ears before cropping, they will probably stand well.

We had to teach our Ding-a-ling Doberman to prick her ears, as hers were predisposed to flop.

And yes, I know everybody thinks I'm cruel for cropping my dog's ears! :-)

You may have to tape them up the vet should be able to tell you if you need to do this or not. You can also try the breeder she/he shuld be able to tell also
