just need help with the location everything i have read on it shows it to be under the intake manafold but i dont see it the or in the normal starter place of under the car any help is great

You will probably have to remove the intake hose and airbox to see it, and there should be three bolts holding it to the bellhousing, you may have to remove the oil filter to remove it. You are right that it's under the Intake runners on the back of the engine.

Oh, and don't forget to disconnect the battery before you try to remove it, You could blow a main fuse. The wires are usually easiest to remove once you have the starter unbolted and ready to come out.

As on most cars and trucks the starter is located on the engine block mounted with the cone of the starter inside the bell housing of the transmission.
Since your car is a Nisson the the engine and the transmission are transverse mounted...The engine is mounter sideways. As is the transmission. If you have a 4 cylinder engine and I am pretty sure you do the starter is mounted on the engine block on the side that is closest to the firewall. It has a battery cable attached the starter this is how you might recognise it.

a starter is one of the easiest things to replace on a car on that Nissan it is on the bottom right corner close to the fire wall its just 2 wires and 2 bolt comes right out. just remember what wire goes where good luck

I have a 93 and yes it should be right there under the intake

its under the intake but if you havent got any experience with nissans you had better take it to a shop
