He sees you and he acts very nervous around you, but so do you. You don't believe that a relative of his would approve? What would you do? Would you date him, if he gave you the opportunity?, or what would you suggest. He doesn't know, but neither do I. Everytime he comes around me I get butterflies in my stomach, I smile, I get nervous, etc. His eyes tell me something, but I am unsure as to what exactly they are trying to tell me. Also, I dream about him for weeks at a time, after I see him. Please help me.

The only people in the relationship are you and him. No one else's opinion should matter..because in the end, you're going to end up with the person you love..not your relative.

Yes, age is just a number and you could make it work if you love each other blah, blah, blah. OK, but relationships can be really hard to make work. And if there is an age difference that can make it harder. I know couples that have a big age difference and they had allot of problems like the women looking too old too early. Or the man being older and them going through different things in their life. I had a friend that was married to man that had a son that wasn't much younger then her. So it was like bother and sister fighting.
But then again there is people that I've known that have a difference in age and have been together for 20 years or more. So the answer to this question is... Yes if the two of you really like each other, yes it can work and you could live a happy life together, but just remember the hurtles that you might have to get over with the age difference. And maybe the two of you will be fine, but there will always be that extra hurtle.

I know what you mean girl, when you see this man you feel as if there is know one else around, its just you and him. You already have part of the answer to your own question, you know how you feel , have you ever tried talking to him and see where he is on this. Age is a number and love can last a life time, don't let this man slip through your finger because a family member might have a problem with it, as long as you both want to be together and he loves you as much or even more then go for it. Enjoy life because it is to short to live it with out a special someone in it. Good luck and I hope that I helped you.

Follow your heart, trust your gut...don't let your dreams fool you though. I believe, and it's only my opinion, that sometimes things are meant to be on a spiritual level, and when that's the case, you know without a doubt. Things like feeling you've known each other for a long time, feeling inexplicably comfortable in seemingly uncomfortable situations with this person are just a few of the ways you "know". Regardless of what you "know" or don't know, it is truly a waste to let something pass you by because of third parties. Again, follow your heart and trust your gut. Step out of your comfort zone and say something that will give more than his eyes the opportunity to "show you something".
Good luck!

What is 6 years?? Forget the age, and go with your butterflies because butterflies don't happen very often. My guess his eyes ARE telling you something and you should go for it. As far as the relative of his, exactly who's life is it anyway? Life is so short and everyone deserves to be happy, especially with 2 consenting adults where there happens to be a very small age difference. Go for it girl and hurry!!!!

Six years! What are you, old enough to be his...big sister. Big deal. Go for it. I'm twelve years older than my SO. Same generation. Bellyache when you're in love with a guy who's 25 years younger. LOL. Now that's an issue. Screw what the relatives think, their problem entirely. Go get your cradle robbin' groove on girlfriend.
