I have guy friends and when we talk they tell me they will call....and rarely do and it seems like I am doing all the work...is their finger broken? Guys call other guys don't they? So why is it so hard to pick up the phone to call a friend that so happens to be a girl?

Im not sure how old the people that are answering the question are, but Im in my thirties and Im not talking about dateing Im talking about established friendships that seem to have me doing all the work.... the people I am talking about most of them are married too...... I know I have been good friends to them I just dont understand why they would be afraid to call it doesnt make sence

its hard to ask questions and give all the details too ..... we are musicians and I like to bs about music and my actor friend we talk about doing a music video...etc its more of an interaction of creative thought

Let them come to you, or call just to ask a question then make it seem like you just needed that answer real fast. get off the phone. They will end up calling because you are now on there minds. I think they do it for their ego's. they want to feel wanted or like you are hooked to what they give. This happens with even friendships. For me, if I hold out and not call, then they call wondering why I haven't. They both work, try it a few time's to get a feel of what I'm talking about.

I truly dont think it has anything to do w/laziness its more like a game to them, any guy doing this probly has a few girls around anyway and I wouldnt bother getting in on it any guy like that usually is just a headache anyways or possibly they dont realize yet what they have. Also you need to give alittle of what your gettin and if they dont respond then you dont either you have to have respect to and realize your worth something I mean if they wont give a simple phone call there gonna cut you short on a lot more then that down the line If you cant talk w/someone how can you get to know one another or have a relationship? I'm more curious in why you want them to call you, if ur married & they are married they might just feel uncomfortable about making that call. You know how people put more into things than what they are. And maybe just maybe its just a Guy Thing, heheheh

I am that guy (well, one of thousands), but I am that way because I am being considerate to the woman. I don't want to call her if she's busy. I always tell them to call me when they have the time to talk. Not when they're in the shower, when they're watching their favorite show; when they're in the middle of working in the kitchen. So see, it's not always laziness.
Some Men are considerate.

Well I never call as a rule, mainly to see how much he likes you... but all of my friends know I am really bad about calling people, so I always make sure to tell them that if they dont call me I wont call them.

Because some of those guys think that it's cool for girls to call on them, and the reason why is because it's good for their ego trip that they are on. In fact, they are a bunch of scum who you shouldn't even be bothered with in the first place.

Some guys are shy on word until they get to know you, but some like when a woman takes charge of the relationship in the beginning and they follow after.

If you call them and they are actually there then they may be nervous about calling you.
If every time you call you get an answering machine, the guy just probably is not interested.

I never call guys. If they wanna talk they call me. If not I don't worry about. I'll call them back though if they leave a voicemail or whatever, but I don't ever call to see if we have plans or anything.
Don't be all over the guys, let them be all over you.
If they don't call you, they are really not that interested.

guys always think they can depend on us gurls they can but not all the time cuz they have to be dependednt too and alot of guys are lazy and hard to find good friends these days and boyfriends so tell them they need to things theri self
