Nicholas Joseph Cugnot in 1769. It actually carried a big huge pot which was used to power the car using steam.


Wordsteward, that is incorrect. The windmill car was only an idea on paper. It was never actually created.

....In Italy, The first car was made by Guido da Vigevano in 1335. It was a windmill type drive to gears and thus to wheels. Go too the site that I have offered to read the entire history of the automoblie.....
