I want to get a tattoo on my lower back and something on my ankle. What should I get?

I was thinking something like a bumble bee on my lower back. I don't know what for my ankle, maybe puppy prints or something.

I fyou dont have any idea, then you shouldnt be aking a permanent mark on your body I believe tattoos should be well thought out personal expressions, not fads.

Tattoos are supposed to be of something that is very important to you that you want to remember for the rest of your life. I don't think a bumble bee or puppy prints probably mean a whole lot. How about you wait until you have come up with something truly inspiring. It's people who just get one to get one that give everyone else a bad rap. Not all tattoos are tacky or dumb, but too many people make haste decisions.

A tattoo should be of something that has meaning to you. Some kind of symbol that says something about you or means something to you, your kids names, or maybe a family crest. Whatever you get, just make sure it means something to you and you will be able to live with it for the rest of your life!

No offense, but the lower back and ankle are very girlish places to get tats.

I think a tattoo should be something very personal that means something to you, so therefore I have no opinions on that.....but I do think that the lower back and ankle are not the most ideal places for a tattoo on a man......just my opinion though.....do what you like!

if you dont know, dont get the tattoo. it should be something meaningful to you, not just something to do. you should draw something out, even if you cant draw, and take that to a tattoo artist for them to come up with a real drawing. they will let you know what will and will not work. i wanted a celtic knot on my upper back, filled with leopard print (to match my other tatto), but the artist said it would be too small to see the leopard print and would end up looking like i had some skin disease, so we came up with a new design that we both liked, and its large enough that i can add on in the furture if i want to encorperate leopard print into the background one day. you can get an idea by going to a tattoo shop and looking thru their flash files then you can make up your own design, it would be more unique and mean a lot more to you

those are kind of girly spots don't you think. on your back would be a good place but more on the shoulder area like from shoulder to shoulder. It really just depends on what kind of a person you are what you're into your personality. You can go to like tattoos.com and they'll show you samples of stuff but do you honestly want to get something that lots of other people have. . . the answer is NO. you can have someone draw you something original. Please do not get anything on your ankle its too female trailer trash. Good Luck and choose wisely cause it's costs more to have it removed than to apply it and it hurts more too.

A tattoo should be a personal expression of who you are. I do not know you, so I cannot tell you what kind of tattoo you should get. I would advise not getting a tattoo until you are able to make the decision yourself. I waited a long time to get my first tattoo because I wanted to make sure it was absolutely right!

What you get and where you put it really matters! Don't rush into a design, with thought of how cool you will be. Get something that you know you'll never tire of. If your unsure, get it in red or yellow. they are easy colors to go over and change. There's a saying that goes, If you don't like it, go bigger and better, over the original. good luck.
