Its all about products, if you have the right stuff your hair can look perfect. Okay you need need need to get a CHI, its by global beauty. Its a flat iron, but it has proceln plates so it doesn't dry out your hair, most celebs use it. You can find it online or at any trade secret, usually in your local mall. It runs about $140 dollars, but its worth it. Also use a cream before you dry your hair, using gels and mousse can really dry out your hair... If you get a styling cream like MATRIX Sleek Look, its in an orange bottle it really helps your hair also. GOOD LUCK!

I don't know if you've already tried using a straightner on it, but I would get a really good straightner. Those always seem to work for everyone. I use a Helen of Troy straightner, but you can use any kind. However, I would suggest getting one that has heat settings on it. This will allow for you to be able to change how hot the straightner gets. Hotter temps are used for thicker and harder to straighten hair (just make sure you don't burn or dry out your hair). To make your hair curly, take a shower and towel dry your hair (just make it damp). Then put some gel and moose in it. If this doesn't work get curl pins from any hairdresser shop where you can put them in your hair and sleep on them overnight. Then in the morning you'll be able to just take the pins out and your hair should be curly. Hope this helps. I have first experience on how annoying hair can be!!

HI! If you want that soft curly, pretty look than follow these steps:
1.) Buy some Alberto V05 Curvacous Curls!
2.) Wash all the product out of your hair
3.) Add a little of the Alberto V05 Curvacous Curls! to your hair
4.) Get a hair drier with a diffuser attachment and dry your hair so that it is a little damp.
Voila, that's it.
Good Luck!

Get a really good straightening iron for it. You have to spend about $100-$140 on a good one in order to really help a wavy hair situation. I had a similar problem. Or you could just put your hair in dreadlocks like I eventually did! :)
