I have a pretty good flat iron for my hair but I want a better one. I noticed that more heated ones make your hair more silky. What iron do you guys suggest?

I dont know what you use but i have a Helen of Troi, that i got from sallys beauty supply. I dont know if thats just a local thing or what, but you can get them online. It was about 45 bucks, and my absolute FAVORITE flat iron ive ever used. Worth every penny. Makes it soft and silky and shiny.

The best iron I have found is by Chi. You should be able to order 1 form your stylist. I use mine daily on my clients and I love it. A professional iron will get hotter and last longer than one you buy from WalMart. They come with a warranty as well.

A CHI, its the best of the best in flat irons... most celebs use it. You can find it at Trade Secret, in most malls. Its about $140 dollars but its worth it. Look it up, believe me you will love it.

Helen of Troy works and its much cheaper than other straightners. It has heat settings that you control for the amout of heat you want you hair to be exposed to.
