Sounds like a migraine to me but they should rule everything else via a MRI and a good eye exam.

That sounds like it could be a migraine headache. They don't happen the same for all people, but a lot of people complain of lights and pain when moving their heads. I get very sensitive to light and sound and a pounding in my head that just won't stop. It gets much worse if I move around. Talk to your doctor about your symptoms.

Where is the pain? what part of the head? Migraines headaches are classified into 2 types. common migraine and the classic migraine. The common one occurs most frequently, its not clearly define (prodrome). it may arise from gastrointestinal problems and visual disturbances that occur from several hrs. to several days, before the actual headache. The classic migraine its clearly define which begins ten to 30 mins before the onset of the headache. The symptoms are paroxysmal attacks of pain, visual field problems, paresthesia, weakness, dizziness, sweating, vomiting and even loss of consciousness. The classic prodrome symptoms is seeing zig-zag lights in one quadrant of the the visual field. Or then again it could be tension headache...so what part of the head is the pain? if it persist...please go see a DR.

Sounds like a migrane. I get them (if i am lucky)about once a week. I start losing my eyesight, but can still see a little. Mine last for about 20 min to 30 min and soon after a headache and nausea feeling. As soon as I relise I'm losing my sight I take ibrophine, it doesn't help any with my sight but it does stop the headache from getting too bad. They have migran medicine. but you need to talk to your doctor.

Are you sensitive to lights and sound as well? If so, then its a migraine.
I usually get the same warning signs before I get a migraine or stress headache.
As soon as you get this symptom, take a pain reliever, it might stop the headache from actually forming, if not, it might not be as bad.

I were given them alot in being pregnant ... and as i develop right into slightly bit a well being freak I chosen no longer to take anythign for them ... i understand now that develop into stupid, cos you could take many drugs for them, when you're previous first trimester, without difficulty, talk on your record who can help you already know. they're casued through a boost of rigidity hormones, so word your existence form and word if yoo can get rid of a few stressors. and also some ingredients, like chocolate (widely used), cheese (yet dont bypass skimping on dairy on your being pregnant) and so on. Now isnt the ultimate time to do hypersensitivity form assessments, so bypass to record about it. also, in case you do sense a migraine drawing near ... eg, through sight interference, its important to take meds once conceivable. The digetive equipment shuts down even as a migraine is completed blown, and that is why you may want to sense nauseus, and vomit. both that, or intravenous meds are the in hardship-free words thign which will artwork.

That does sound like a migraine. When your head hurts, are you extremely sensitive to light and even small noises irritate you? Go to the doctor to see if he can give you something - migraines are no fun.

i have suffered from migraines for years. not sure about the flashy lights. i am very very sensitive to light. i can't move much. noise also effects me. turns out mushrooms have been causing mine all this time and i never knew. i was getting one at least once every 2 months. i cut out the mushrooms and haven't had one since. chocolate can trigger them for me occasionally as well. good luck. the last time i had to get shots for the pain and nausea. you may want to see your doctor if it continues to progress.
