Like, a woman maybe well indeed be overweight or fat, but her husband will say shes not (even though he knows she is) and will encourage her to eat more or say she doesnt need to exercise (I dont mean men saying it to them so they dont hurt there feelings either) Is it possible a man says that stuff so she is unnatractive to other men???

Like she really wants to hear "hey, pig put the fork down!" No, of course not. Why do women constantly ask "do I look fat in this" or "does this make my but look big" when they know when they have gained weight? Because, they want to know if we still find them attractive. The keeping your g/f or wife unattractive thought is garbage, I don't think anybody would do that!

Yeah, I saw it on some news show (like dateline) a couple of years ago .. it was about a woman that was 300lbs., and she wanted to loose weight, but the man said he would divorce her if she got skinny, because she likes them tubby. Not exactly the same thing, but kinda though.

I think that is a big possibility! They don't want other men around their wives so they encourage her to gain. Its wrong and the women should realize that they are being lied to.

everyone standards for weight are different. Some women are quite happy being larger and some men prefer it. Also, sometimes when you love someone you don't see the flaws others do.
But your right some men do discourage their women from losing weight or exercising because they are insecure about losing them.

'Coz in all probability, they aren't paying attention to the 'Am I fat?!!!!!!' question that comes their way and another reason may be that they don't want to hurt their wife's or gf's feelings if the real anwer isn't a positive one.The ego possibility that their wives/gfs may find someone better or more attractive is another possibility.You choose the one that you think is right.
