Look on RAC autoroute or AA routefinder, there are several different routes, the best one will depend on what time of day you travel, and roadworks etc
I come from Stapleford, but moved a few miles away, as Stapleford hasnt got much to offer, and is a bit rough these days.If I was making the journey from Blackpool, i would get to the M6 then down to junction 14 and take the A50 all the way to the M1, go northbound 1 junction to junction 25 and you are virtually at Stapleford, signposted 1 mile away.Your total journey will be approx 150-160 miles, and can be done in 2and half hours if traffic flow is good, to 3 hours upwards depending...Avoid making the journey friday afternoon or monday morning and you should be ok
1 visit should be enough to put you off for life
Cant think why you would want to go there...but good luck

About 2 and 1/4 hours. If traveling, Auto route suggests heading to Manchester then M62 to around Dewsbury and getting on to the M1 straight down. I'd say there's another route getting onto the A6 at Manchester and heading to Chesterfield and joining the M1 not far from there. All depends on traffic!
