One of my three dachshunds is female, is fixed, and still humps the male dogs. She is entirely buttoned up and not nearly as playful as the other two. She likes order and she likes to dominate the other two. It's a domination thing. Really. I have video and have stopped freaking out about the source. She just wants to be in charge.
