This is a very old remedy. It has been passed down from generation to generation. If you have allergies, and want to get rid of them, and as long as you maintain the daily dose or more (depending how much you like it) of this product, I can assure you your allergies will either go away completely, or lighten up to where it's noticeable. I do not know if it's safe for pregnant mothers to be, but I do know it's not safe for infants. It is completely safe for adults and children over 3. The product is honey, good old fashion local honey, not the stuff you buy commercially in walmart......, but the stuff the farmers make. Take about 2 tablespoons everyday, for the rest of your life, and your allergies will go away. You should start seeing results in 6 to 8 weeks. As snake poison is used to make a vaccine for a snake bite, local bee honey is the vaccine to allergies. You have to build your bodily system to a point where you become immune. This usually takes alot of time. I hope this helps you.

When I was pregnant with my daughter I went through the same thing. It seemed like my sinuses were ALWAYS stuffed up. I'd use Afrin to try and help it...just made it worse! There was no relief for me until after I had my daughter. Talk to your doctor about it because there IS stuff on the market that can help you that will not harm your baby. Ask about Flonase (spelling?) This is a nasal spray but it's given A LOT to children as well so I'm wondering if it wouldn't be safe for you to take while pregnant. Ask your doctor to see if you can get some relief!

I have seasonal allergies and I don't like to use sprays or medications because some of them cause a dry nose which leads to a bloody nose. Anyways, what I usually do in the morning is put my nose (or whole face if you have to) in some cold water until it reaches right below the bone of your nose. The water helps to wash out whatever causes the allergies.

A vaporizer may help or pour steaming water into a large bowl, cover your head with a towel and inhale the steam from the bowl. Get in a hot shower and then sit in the closed bathroom to inhale the steam.

I am taking for granted that you have called you doctor. I assume also that you know you cannot take any medication unless the doctor prescribes it for you or tells you it is okay to take something you can buy over the counter.

This is a normal thing in pregnancy. If you are looking for a natural cure for this you can take a little Organic Apple Cider Vinegar(1TPSP a day, I mixed mine with apple sauce)) to help with your allergies. I took this stuff during my pregnancy and it was safe, but you may want to talk to your doctor first. Be really careful of any allergy medications, because a lot of them are not safe during your pregnancy. Even if your doctor gives you a perscription for them do your own research before taking them. I asked the pharmacist and then went online to check to make sure they were safe and come to find out they were not very safe to take during pregnancy.

Try saline nasal spray. It won't affect your baby because it doesn't have any chemicals in it. It will hydrate your nose and flush out whatever is irritating your sinuses. I have very bad allergies and I'm not supposed to take allergy medication because of conflicts with some of my other medication. Saline spray really helps.

Being pregnant causes your nose to stuff up. It will all get better once you pop that kid out! If not then try Allegra after baby comes, What ever you do- DO NOT mix nondrowsy antihistamines with diet pills! Makes you feel CRAZY nervous.

Are you sure it is allergies? If it is my grandmother always said to eat some honey produced locally. The bees feed off local pollen and when you eat the honey, you build up a tolerance to it. Don't know if it works but you can't really take any medication and it certainly can't hurt.

One of the best remedies almost guaranteed to work is to get some TIGER BAULM and rub it on your chest when your going to sleep.

Tiger baulm is usually used on sore muscle and has always worked for me with a cold and especially to clear up stuffy nose :).

Tiger baulm can be found anywhere but the cheapest place to get it is at a chinese store.
