And how could the USA move to be more like them, in practical terms?

It is more about the US than Europe, Japan and the more advanced Asian societies are equally secular and atheistic.

In Europe I guess it took the horrors of two World Wars fought on its soil to finally convince some that the idea of a loving god was a fairly sick joke, I wouldn't recommend that way of going about things.

First thing would be to get religion out of politics, make references to god in a politicians speech a sackable offence. Unfortunately Europe's politicians seem to be becoming more like those in the US which is a very worrying development.

Many nations in Europe , such as the Western ones, are rich and many have a socialistic style of government which meants they pay high taxes, but get free medical care and other benefits. Often , when a person can rely on their own government to solve their problems, then they don't feel the need to worry about a Creator as much. They are also very liberal and secular societies with such a blend of cultures that Christianity is considered old fashioned and judgemental and restrictive. The USA has plenty of it's own problems , do u want them to become apathetic like the Europeons now too?

The United States was first settled by people who left Europe for religious freedom- that is, the freedom to be religious fanatics. Our country was heavily influenced by a conservative religious population and still is today.

Europe, on the other hand, has had bloody wars fought right in their countries. They've had an influx over the millenia of many different kinds of religions, and I suppose settled on the idea that religion just doesn't make a difference.

they do in basic terms no longer prepare actuality at school anymore! The pilgrims make a written contract with The Almighty while they landed right here. this is termed the Mayflower Compact. A written covenant!!! it states that this new u . s . may well be geared up, and ran decrease than the precepts and concepts of the gospels of Jesus Christ. era!!! That, is why we've been the main lasting republic in historic previous. Thank God!!! yet, the enemy has have the potential to wriggle his way into our lives, in basic terms as he did to Adam and Eve. So, to respond to your question, the only element which will turn this u . s . around, is God, meaning, we ought to , as a rustic, repent, and end abortions, embryonic stem cellular study, homosexuality, corruption, adultery, divorce, etc., and turn lower back to the father, by His Son, Jesus Christ.courting, this is why we've been created initially. the father is going to allow this circulate on, until we get it good. in basic terms study The Bible, if God did it to His "chosen", why might every person think of that He does no longer do it to us??? do no longer think of so? properly, the covenant replaced into signed on 11/11/1620, and Jeremiah 11:a million-11;(5 ones in a row), tells us what occurs to a rustic that breaks covenant with God. Hmmm!!!

I think that being the centre of the world has made many US people stop wondering how their lives could change for the better. If things are going well for you, you don't worry to see how to improve it.
