Doesn't calling something wine imply that it has been fermented and is that not one of the reasons why it is called alcohol?

Non-alcoholic wines (such as the Ariel brand) are fermented like wine, but then are "dealcoholized" (the alcohol is taken out). A very small percentage of alcohol remains (1% or less).

Like alcohol free beer, there's no such thing as alcohol free wine, it contains no matter what a max of 1% alcohol, to keep, so in that respect I guess it can be called wine, or light wine, or very light wine, but wine nonetheless.

Even though it's labels alcohol free there is still some content. It shouldn't be called wine at all but neither should wine coolers be called that. They are not wine at all they are malt beverages.

I've never heard of non-alcoholic wine. Wouldn't that just be juice?

No. It is not wine. You are not even getting those health benefits that allegedly accrue with taking two glasses of red wine daily.
