My new boyfriend is white and my parents are not liking it..?

I’m in my first interracial relationship and my parents do not like it at all...He trying to be nice but it’s only so much he can take..
Anyone have any ideas on how to make my parents see what I do in him?

When I entered my first interracial relationhip I had trouble on both sides. I came from an Italian family and my girlfriend was Hatian. The mother of my girlfriend thought all I was out to do is get a piece of the pie and for that reason she did not like me. It can be frustrating. Have him kill your parents with kindness. Have him show them what you to mean to him. Practice chivalry not only to you but to your mother as well. Once you win the mother's heart the father will follow. If this does not work then you need to sit down with your parents and let them know how you feel about him. Tell them all the great things he does for you and make them understand. I am sorry to say that there will always be someone who will be against the relationship. I still remember to this day when my grandmother turned to me and said, "Why can't you get yourself a nice white girl instead!" You can't please everyone.
