antibiotics & hiccups?

Question

How come everytime (and I mean evertime) my husband takes antibotics he gets really bad hiccups? The pharmacist said that it wasnt possible for the antibotics to be causing the problem. The shots dont cause them only the prescription medicines. This has been going on for a few years.

I know it is weird, but what could cause it?

I've never heard of such a reaction with antibiotics. It doesn't even make sense for such a reaction to occur. It's weird.
