say you were Protestant and your husband or wife was muslim nad you left your religion to be Muslim? would you do that? and why?

No I would not. When we were married my husband was baptist I was Catholic (ex catholic now) and we were not able to get married in the catholic church because of this. Instead of having him change his religion we chose to get married at the courthouse. Nobody that loves you that much would tell you to switch your religion.

The Scripture says, "Be ye not unequally yoked together, believer and unbeliever." But it also says that it's possible for the "wife to sanctify the husband or the husband to sanctify the wife." So I guess for me, it would depend upon what God told me in my heart were true. I wouldn't follow a lie for anyone, let alone a spouse. But, if that spouse's witness to me about salvation was merited and led of God, I would be a fool not to listen to the heart of God through her.
