This answer is for the girl who said no priest would have a wife.

You're wrong, sweetie. There are many married priests. Anglican priests can marry, so can many of the Eastern Catholic churches. See, not all Catholics are Roman... Byzantine priests can marry, among others...

But it's true. The questioner is wrong. The fellow was a minister. Not a priest.

he wasn't a priest, but an Evangelical Protestant Minister named Ted Haggard.

Just another hypocritical Evangelical Christian that makes the rest of Christianity look bad.

Last I heard he's still denying it, but it looks bad. You will find scandals and hypocrisy among Christians. If you wish, you can use that as an excuse to reject the Christian message. But it would probably be wiser to go investigate the Source of the Christian message and find for yourself what you want to believe. But it's your choice.

a parable in the bible refers to letting the wheat and tares grow together and the Lord will separate them..

Psalm 75:8 For in the hand of the LORD there is a cup, and the wine is red; it is full of mixture; and he poured out of the same: but the dregs thereof, all the wicked of the earth shall wring them out, and drink them. (having to bear the consequences of sin )

Whomever this man is/was he is not a Priest. A Priest would not have a wife.
