Absolutely!! My wife is so shy that she would not even open the door to give children Halloween candy. On the other hand, I raced home from work so that I could give out candy to the children.
What is important is that the shy person feels totally comfortable with the outgoing person. Many outgoing people intimidate shy people. The shy person also needs to know that the outgoing person will protect the shy person.
My wife and I have been married for four years and together for six. I think we have the best marriage in the world.
Take care,
Troy

Yes, it will work...I'm in one of those relationships...him and I compliment each other...we are total opposites and throughout the past 5 years, we've grown and changed and now we're a little closer than complete opposites but to answer your question...it will work. Just don't push the other person to be more outgoing...someone who is outgoing doesn't understand what its like to be shy so just don't push them :)

Of course you can. the outgoing person can help the shy person to become a little more outgoing, he probably just needs some confidence.

No one is 100% shy or 100% out going, im sure u have qualities of each other
Shy people r only nervouse around people they dont know, so if they know thw outgoing person well enough they could be 'normal' with them ( thats how it is 4 me)
Also u should both make time 4 each other

Yes, as long as both are willing to give. The shy person should open up and allow the outgoing person to help them break out of their shell and vice versa.

Why, of course! relationships take time to grow, nurture, to love one another nevers ends. Sometimes it takes a shy person in your life to find out how very outgoing and well-spoken someone you love is. Love lasting relationships take love, honor, cherish, trust and communication always sweetheart. Just remember your family and Jesus will always love you no matter what.
When that special someone walks into your life grab the wheel and don't let go through finances, health, trusting one another, communicating always and love never failing. Jesus will always be in the center sweetheart.

Hey they always say opposites attract. They probably compliment each other very well and the more outgoing one can always help the shy one open up a little.

Absolutely!
I was very shy in "1975" when I met my wife and she was the loud very outgoing type.
Lasting relationships take commitment and work. The more important issue is this person the type that will invest them self's completely in the relationship. Do they stick to it even when it gets hard? or do they give up easily on commitments?
Are they willing to give of them selves? or self centered? Can they admit when they are wrong and accept criticism?
Learning from mistakes.. we all make them, it is how we deal with them that's important.

i think so i'm a very shy quiet person.. i don't talk a whole pile.. unless asked .. even if i do have something to say i'm not usually loud enough to get a word in edge wise sometimes.. :)
and my bf is very outgoing not very shy at all.. and we get along great..
i think its better that way.. he can be the outgoing one and i can just be shy :)
we compliment each other very well
