The reasons to why i 'thought' he liked me. @school. 1~ When i was looking at the back of a DVD someone brought in, He asked me from afar what DVD it was...out of the blue. 2~ I was watching movie with my friends (guy friend too) on the tv, after a while he plonked his chair right in middle of where me and my guy friend sat. jealously maybe? or what? 3~ I wanted to test him, so while we wer watching the movie, i suddenly made a movement to get my jacket across the room, he turned his head to see where i was going. 4~My friends have told me that he was looking at me on several occasions. 5~He took a lollipop out of my hands when i was offering people a lollipop saying he wanted it. 6th: I caught him lookin at me alot.
The thing is..whenever we have the chance to talk he acts as though he doesnt like me. If he likes me he doesnt show it, ive liked him for ages now, the sitaution now between both of us is awkward, we are passed the stage where we can talk normally.
Any thoughts people?

Sweetie, he can't "make" you think anything. You choose to think he likes you, because you want him to. He sounds more like the "class clown" type of guy who likes attention and you are probably not the only person he notices or plonks down near, or grabs things from their hands...
He doesnt' sound shy, so I would guess if he were interested in you, he'd have made it clear by now...no reason you cannot strike up a conversation with him though, or ask a question about your studies, or engage him in some way that may give you more insight into what's on his mind.
But don't hate him because he's not doing what you want him to do...or you're going to end up hating a whole lot of people throughout your life.

Sometimes we see things the way we want them to be. For example anyone would most probably watch a sudden move even if they don't fancy the person who made it. and asking what a dvd is isn't necessarily a sign either. Both answers could be right, but you need to calm down. if he acts like he doesn't like you then probably he doesn't. what would be the point in liking you and hiding it. despite this if you think he likes you and is too shy to show, try get closer to him, but it's better for you to do this in ways that won't be too obvious, like smiling at him and talking to him more than to others, trying to be close to him and if he doesn't respond to any of this... just move on it's not worth it

i think the guy may have some interest in you but some of the reasons you used to deduct that he likes you are not that strong coz for example a guy can look at a girl for some time maybe admiring one part of her body but it may not mean that he likes you.maybe you are drawing these conclusion just because you like hime but i will tell you one thing though, dont let your judgement be blinkered by how you feel for this guy, analyse the situation objectively and maybe consult your best girl freind and see what she thinks about him, coz sometimes its tricky, this guy maybe just playing games with you [high school boys enjoy that sometimes]

You have shown too much affection to this guy such that he is of the belief that you are already in love with him, but he isn't in that fold yet. All he wants is to see your desperation towards him and he seems to be enjoying it. He is not in love with you and should you be fool enough to keep on pestering him, then he will dominate you and just consider you as his playtool. He is playing the jealous type, yet he is not showing it physically that he loves you. Find yourself a boyfriend who really appreciates you as you are, one who trusts your moves and doesn't stare you from the corner of their eyes.

I feel sorry for you.It happened to me before and i still haven't got over him.It's really bad that guys do that to girls.It is understandable that you like him and you think he likes you back.The only solution is to "let him go"! I mean:don't even be his friend,it will make it more easier for you to forget him! I know it's hard and the sugestions is stupid,but why don't you give it a try?!

I think you should lay off & ignore him for a while then he will start wondering why your not taking notice of him & make an effort to impress you. (works every time) Or you could always try flirting with your boy 'friends' to make him jealous and then he will realise he does like you- let him make the first move! good luck!!!

Mabey he is scared!!!i can act a bit like that as im pretty shy and dont really know how to act.Take it slow.Have you got his number?txt him as a friend and see if it progresses.If he likes you he will be able to let more out through a text than he can face to face.
Give him a chance and see if it goes anywhere.This guy does act like he likes you.

I suggest you to avoid him for a while and see what he does..and if u really want to noe if he likes u or is he just messing with ur head...talk to his friends and get some info off of them..trust me..i had a friend in this situation and i was in this situatuon and it work..so GOOD LUCK!!!

You don't say waht ages you are. I suspect quite young....teenagers? Teenage boys are not the confident creatures girls believe them to be they have insecurities and self doubt too. Sounds to me like this boy is perhaps on unsure territory and shy. So try not to hate him....just enjoy his company if he is around and help him to relax....if something is meant to happen betwen you it will if not there are plenty more where he came from.

Everyone in this world has a way to show there love to there special one. this is his way baby. He likes you just trying to shy away or fears that he loose. He is possesive about you to an extent.
Have you tried to tel him that you like him,trust me you will surprised with the answer..it will be a yes.
