change these things:
bagels - whole meal bagels
cream cheese - low fat cream cheese
(keep the veggies and fruit)
pizza - try buying your own pizza bases and adding your own healthy toppings and low fat cheese
pasta is good as long as the sauces arent full of cream, butter or cheese. (tomato sauses with nice herbs is good)
tacos umm...... (ive never had them but i know just from looking at them that they are bad for you. try buying tortillas and making your own at home. STAY OUT OF TOCOBELL)
chicken is good as long as you eat the grilled type
rice and salads are all right
popcorn is all right as long as it dosent have melted butter or caramel or tones of salt all over it.
REMEMBER: you can have junk food - but in moderation - like as a treat

There is this diet called the Sacred heart Diet/ La dieta de la luna.
This is an intense diet that could make you loose as close to 17lbs not kidding..This diet is used on those heart patient who are going into surgery and is very safe. I tried it myself and lost 8lb, I was cheating though. So that would be the reason why I didn't lose 17lbs. The Diet consists of starting the first day with fruits all sorts..then eating vegetables and chicken,fish,.. I would recommend this diet because its not harm-full to your body your actually in-taking all your vitamins...the first three days are intense and is more of a cleansing process and will make you want to quit, but don't quit. You will notice 3-4 lbs at the end of your first night when you go to bed..continue and I'll promise you'll lose at-least 15lbs...Do a search on the web for the Sacred Heart diet or in Spanish La dieta de la Luna......Its a week long diet for great results, after the diet take control of how you eat to keep you desired weight.,,its a guarantee if you stay on it and dont stray ,You'll look great and feel so so much better honestly.

I'll advise you to recognize the type of foods you like, even the "bad ones" and see how you can incorporate them into your diet, so you don't end up feeling deprieved and gorging.
For anyone to gain a pound you'll have to have consumed 3500 calories in excess. So choice your meals wisely.
Many foods aren't bad, but it is the quantity at which they are consumed that can be a problem. Try to stay away from artificial, processed products and saturated fat to maintain an healthy heart.
I wish you all the best :)

yogurt - low sugar.
bagels - whole wheat.
cream cheese - low fat.
fruit and veggies - great, eat mostly raw.
pizza - strongly consider cutting this out, else make it at home and loaded with veggies/fruits.
pasta - ok, don't heep on the sauce.
tacos - eat in soft tortilla with beef/chicken and plenty of fresh vegetables, and make your own. None of this frozen stuff or taco bell.
chicken - grilled not fried.
rice - brown.
salad - low sugar, go easy on dressing.
popcorn - hmm, I never eat popcorn so I haven't looked into it much I guess go easy on butter and salt.
Add daily exercise and you'll be on your way.

Well you KNOW that the pizza is bad as it is MAJORLY fattening and super high in calories. Pasta is okay as long as you aren't eating insane amounts of it. Cream cheese is okay if you use a LIGHT version and not a lot of it.
Cut out soda, fast food, sugars.
DRINK LOTS OF WATER
