I tend to discourage pregnant women from things like this. The trouble is,the hormone levels in your body have altered with the impending new - and I pray, happy - arrival.
I watched an episode of Judge Lopez in which she tried a case between a salon and a client who came in for a full bikini wax at 8 months.Despite reservations on the part of the lady performing the service, the client insisted on having it done, only to have some skin come away with the wax ! Judgement was not in the client's favor because she had been advised that it might not be a good idea beforehand.
I would to be leery of trying things like this out because what never ever bothered you pre-pregnancy might well have a bizarre effect on you during term. I discourage my pregnant friends from chemically treating their hair after the second trimester, as I've witnessed several nasty burns on pregnant patrons who never experienced undue sensitivity pre-pregnancy. Husbands tend to get unfriendly (!) when pregnant wives come home in pain.
If you really insist on getting "clean",maybe you should use one of those at home depilatory creams or gels, or a sugar waxing if you've done it before. I really dread the idea of chemicals on an expectant woman, but there's less likelihood of you coming to any harm with a mild at home treatment.
Keep it real, and may we hear both the voice of the mother and the voice of the child after your delivery!

of course you can......
In fact in some countries women are requested to remove all public hair by their husbands and even they would never dare visiting their gyneco with public hair - it would be an offense,
Do not worry and an 8 month pregnant woman can look sexy and natural..
You can even do it yourself with sugar. Check the internet for sugar waxing and you will find recipies. It is easy to do... seat on a towel or in a tub and just go for it...... and with sugar it is so easy to rinse the excess.......
Good luck

you might want to ask your doc that question...I would assume so since its just hair...but its painful...so not too sure. either ask your doctor, or call the salon you want to get waxed at and ask them. that is a good idea though!! to do that right before you give birth... at least make it look nice for all the people that will have tos ee it that day!

actually it is most hygienically to get waxed before delivery. I had a son 5 years ago and they had to shave my area. So when I got pregnant again I decided to have it done correctly so that it would not look horrible (like it did before; half @ssed)

I LIKE WAXING AND HAVE TWO KIDS AN IT WAS NEVER A PROBLEM TO GET WAXED. IT DOESNT HURT THAT MUCH. THEY PUT A NUMBER ON YOU.... IT IS REALLY JUST KINDA LIKE ORAJEL.... IT DOESNT NUMB YOU COMPLETLY JUST TO LESSEN IT A BIT. THEN TYE RUB THIS OTHER STUFF ON SO THE WAX DOESNT STICK TO THE SKIN WHEN RIPPED OFF AN THEN THE WAX. NOT THAT BAD. GO FOR IT.
