It has been suggested by some that flu shots are not only unnecessary but actually harmful and are promoted by profiteers. The price has jumped from $5-10 to $20-30 in San Francisco Bay Area in the past two years! What is the price in your area and what do you think about the effectiveness of the flu shots?

Currently the are 15 in Oklahoma City. I do not get one because they always make me sick for a few days. I don't want to get sick for a few days for the CHANCE of not getting the FLU. There are several different versions of the Flu and the shot you get is only a guess on what strand of the flu will hit this year. If they are wrong you got a flu shot for nothing.

Everytime my flu shot wore off I went down with flu. So I stopped having them.

usually $15 but you can somtimes get them free at a clinics or it is covered by your health insurance

its $15 here in new york (idk about the whole state but where i live it is).....I'm still not getting one though
