I have done that and it didn't seem to affect the taste or texture any...as long as they aren't open and don't "swell", they should be safe (and be sure to keep an eye on those expiration dates).

If they've never been opened they will be fine.There's usually an expiration date printed on the bottom. This means that after that day, the company can no longer sell it at full price to the public.The food is still edible but the manufacturer cannot guarantee its freshness.Hope this helps you!

They will be fine in fact I store mine at room temerature on the shelf as long as they aren't opened then they are fine.
