There is a guy I met while in a training session. We work for the same company but in different cities about 200 miles away. We've been talking on IM for months. This wknd I was planning a Christmas shopping trip. It was cancelled 2 days ago...last night he was online and we talked...I told him I had planned a shopping trip to his city for this weekend, but it had been cancelled. He said, well if you would 've came down you could've stopped in work Saturday evening and hangout. I asked him if I would've done that, would he have wanted to go and get a beer after he got off. He said Yeah, that'd be good. Or you could come to my house and we could hang out and catch up. He's a good person, I'd feel 100% comfortable doing this. I said well the next time, I'll just surprise you and pop in at work..he said that'd be good. He's the boss at work, so it'd be fine. Well, now the trip is back on-should I just pop in and surprise him like I said? I would call him from the parkinglot. thanks

For what its worth, yes I like this guy and I think he likes me too...we've always been very flirtatious towards one another, from the time we met at the training session in the spring.

Sounds great! Should go for it my friend...Nothing like spending some time with someone you like....whatever be the outcome...just take it from there! But please dont doubt on the first step..give each other the chance to know better! Both of you sound so sweet and there is already something in the air!!! Good luck my friend....life is a one time ride...roller coaster or not, it's still fun..enjoy the ride as it lasts! Good luck!

You should tell him the trip is back on and tell him you would like to stop by and see him. You don't want to show up and realize that he has other plans. Also if you haven't been around this guy in person or know people who know him well I prolly wouldn't go to his house. Keep it public.

Take a chance. But be careful with the popping in. I would maybe give him a few minutes to get himself together, throw in some gum and comb his hair. :)
