There are times that I feel the same way. My husbands mother can not stand me. But I always remember that I married my husband not his family. There are times when you have to just deal with it that is what I do. If my husband has to go to his mothers house for any reason I never go. My husband and I have been married for 5 years and I have said maybe 50 words to her. So all I can say is that there is a bad relative every where you go and all you can do is ignore them but what ever you do don't ignite there fire because that is what they want you to do they enjoy seeing it bother you so don't let it bother you just move on and live your own life not there's.

Some people are so naive that when they see someone as
close as his mother and himself, they assume they should
be in an argument of some sort and for what reason, whom knows. My daughter in I are close, we do lots together
like sisters. What it is, is they are Jealous of how compatible they
both are and there is so much love between them. They can't help it, if they don't get along with their own family. Everybody is different. I'm pretty sure that your husband and his mother have
their differences. So I would just ignore their stupidity and go
on with your happy marriage.

She sounds like a BIG BUSYBODY! Don't give her any power over you by confronting her. Just ignore her. If she persists, then speak to your mother-in-law! I'll bet SHE would like to know how this busy-body is bad mouthing her and her son!!! Also, tell your husband if things get too much for you. WHY should YOU have to deal with this alone? It's not really your problem, anyway. Good Luck!!

Take a chill pill and win her heart. Indian wives bear with this life long. Just become nice and sweeter to her. Rather have a friend than a foe. Plus she gave birth to the man you love. So like her more. Make efforts to do so.

that's normal, when your son have a wife you'll end up doing the same thing, it doesn't mean she hates you or doesn't like you, i wouldn't worry about that. start looking at your own family with your husband , be who you are as you said you never done anything wrong to that women, dont stay in between her & your husband it's up to him to have two diff relationship between you & his mom if he loves his mom more than you than you need to rethink about your relationship with him other than that focus on your self and your own family live your life happy dont pay attention to others saying negative things because it doesn't do any good for any one anyway...good luck and keep your head up

Ignore her. She's just trying to start something. It's not even worth giving a second thought.

Don't respond to people who act like that, because "that's" what they want you to do. Don't allow anyone to know they bother you, even if they do, okay? Some people are ignorant, and don't have a life, be above that ignorance.

DONT PAY ANY ATTENTION TO HER. SHE IS PROBABLY AFFRAID YOU WILL PULL THEM APART AND WHEN SHE SEES THAT THAT IS NOT WHAT YOU WANT TO DO THEN THINGS SHOULD GET BETTER. AND SOMETIMES THE MOM DOESNT WANT THEM TO EVER LEAVE THE NEST SO YOU WILL NEVER GET ALONG. SO LONG AS YOUR HUSBAND ALWAYS STANDS UP FOR YOU THEN THINGS SHOULD WORK OUT JUST FINE.
