Electrocardiogram. It is a diagnostic test that measures the electrical activity in the heart. The wavy line pattern associated with an EKG normally shows four peaks called P, R, S, and T waves. The height and distance between these waves is indicative of many heart conditions.

Electro-cardio gram... very small electric waves are sent into the heart to get feedback on heart rhthyms and valve movements/timing. The result is a very detailed analysis of heart and cardio-functions, which can allow doctors to diagnose nearly imperceptible anomalies in the heart.
