- Money is not split in my household everything is shared.
- We know what we have, know what we can & cannot afford & spend accordingly.
- All purchases of around $100 or more must be discussed.
- The Bible says we are one flesh, therefore, we must treat each other just as well as we treat ourselves.

My bother ha a stay at home wife. They do not 'split' the money. They both have running money accouts and the rest goes into investments. If they decide to go on vacation they use the investment money...

I am a house wife, my husband is serving in Iraq, we are the best of friends and we share everything including money. I am very responsible person so he has me handling all the bills and the savings.

I was in this situation. I paid for all of the household bills - mortgage, utilities, taxes, etc. We split Insurance and paid respective car payments. The money she made at her business she kept. I kept what was left of mine. Until she divorced. I kept the house half the kid and still had to pay her "mommy support".

wouldn't any monies be house monies...isn't that what the institution of marriage is about...sharing everything....or is your husband a promise keeper?
