Most hospitals have a mental health ward. They usually carry pamphlets that have information on various treatments used to help the depressed. You also may want to check the phone book for a suicide hotline or a mental health clinic.

webmd is good for most medical and some psych disorders. If its something youre considering, theres tollfree numbers in the phone book.

go to webmd.com they have a section of phone numbers where you can call for help. I think one of the numbers is 1800-suicide
