Just tell him that you were fulfilling an erotic fantasy spying on him and at the same time you were curing your curiosity if he was cheating. But if you want to continue spying there are sights on the internet that can give you tips on spying for that certain thing without getting caught

Make up something, like you had a bad nightmare about him cheating on you when some made up details about evidence in his aparment and you just had to make sure it was a dream and not reality. apologize and ask him to tell you the truth if he is or not.

dont worry its love that makes one possessive and insecure you will get over it but talk to him about trust in a relation and simply convence him.if he loves he will understand.
