My ex boyfriend says he cheated on me then he told my best friend he didn't. Now he says the only reason why he said that was because he hates the way my mom harrasses him. He wants to get back together but i still feel like he cheated. What should I do?

You should go with your feelings. If you feel like he cheated on you then he probably did. You don't tell a lie like that just because he felt that your mother was harrassing him for whatever reason. If that were the case, he should have been a man about it and talked to you about it instead of lying. Once a cheater........... well you know how that goes. I would forgive him because everyone deserves a second chance but I wouldn't take him back for a boyfriend or lover or whatever just friends and if he doesn't want that then he was lying to begin with. I hope it works out for you. But if your mom doesn't like him then you really should take that into consideration because our parents want the best for us just like God wants the best for us and not any old junk. Think about it.

don't you dare go back to him. I am not sure what the whole story is but do not go back to him. listen if he didn't like your mom he should have tod you that not said that he cheated on you how dumb is that. what does your mom harrass him about anyway? does he treat you like sh*t? well, he should have came to you and told you that there was a problem! why did he go and tell your friend? maybe he did cheat on you and he jsut didn't think that you would believe him so he ran and told your friend that he didn't. Now if you are having sex then this is way different! He just told your friend that he didn't only because he knew that your friend would run and tell you that he didn't just so he could get a make up lay! so stay away from him! one good advice stay away from lust! there is no such thing as love!

Seems like he initially told you the truth, then maybe changed his mind and didn't want to be with the other girl anymore, so came back to you (and your friend) now denying it because he wants you back. And the best he could come up with as an excuse was your mom harasses him? I wouldn't trust this guy.

He's your ex dear, so move on... This is the simplest way that I can put it...If you know that a fire is hot, then why in the heck would you continue to put your hand in it again? Use the senses that you have. Good luck

Obviously he cares very little for your feelings whether he cheated or not. Why would he hurt you by lying? You can do better.
