Sure you can. You dont have to return to the city you departed from. This kind of trip is called an open jaw in the travel industry. Generally these flights are a bit more expensive than going round trip.You can also book a trip that goes to El Salvador, Mexico and back home. This is called a circle trip. I would suggest contacting the airline you want to fly to check on fares. Be sure that you have your passport in order. Good luck.

I can't give you a specif answer, but I would suspect your best bet would be to fly through Mexico City both ways. That way you'd have a round trip there and could take round trips to El Salvador and, if necessary, elsewhere in Mexico. Any way, it is probably a bit price-y.

I don't know where you're flying from, but I know Taca Airlines has lots of flights to and within Central America and they are often the least expensive. We've flown them. They're OK.
