Is it always a bad idea to call your boyfriend before he calls me? I'm trying to lessen the amount of times I call him. But everyone says I should let him call me. Is that always right?

It depends on how busy you both are.
For example, if he is always into something and barely has time to call and you want to just say hey once a day, I'd call or send him a text message.
If you both are relatively free and he doesnt call you, wait for him to call you. I would not just call him multiple times a day. Its better if you act like you dont even notice that he doenst call. Then when he finally calls talk to him normally, gleeming inside.
If you are busy and he's busy and you are interested in keeping the relationship afloat, you may have to make the sacrafise and be the caller. But still, dont call him every day multiple times a day. When you do that it becomes a burden to answer. But why would a person of your caliber even have time to do that? =)

that's not true because if you see that he doesn't call you then you'll obviously get upset. the same thing with him. there needs to be that equalness between you both just make sure you don't get annoying. call him if he doesn't call you but not all the time. remember everyone needs their space.

there's no formula---but, i would caution againstbeing clingy. Guys don't like that.
