It is horrible....but....I personally know of several families who send their children out to work at a very early age....now don't they understand that if their children are kept in the same rut for generations and generations that they will never learn that it takes an education to better themselves and make things better for their generations to come......they keep their own children in generational ignorance....and therefore keep the power in the hands of the very political society which will continue to oppress them

Child labor laws are unfair, and a burden on the tax payer.
If a teen wants to learn, stay in school. If not get a job.
It only takes about 30 minutes to read the stats on High School drop outs to understand much of my reasoning. Another 30 to look up stats on High School grads that can barely read and write.
If you have a 14-18 year old that can't/won't try. Why not make Mcjobs a priority, get them out of public school, and pay taxes to support the system, so those that actually want an education can get one.

The way you wrote your question it seems that you think child labor laws are wrong. If that is what you mean, than you are a sick person, if we allow companies to have their way, 4 -7 year olds would be working 12 - 16 hours a day for 6 cents a week. Don't believe me, look at the countries that do not protections. When it comes to profit, people will sell their souls.

What? So what you're saying is you think it is unfair to have laws against child labor? You said "Illegal child labor is unfair" . Are you are saying "Laws against child labor are unfair" or "We should not have laws against child labor" , "Children should be forced into labor" ?!...NO!!! Children should be in school!!! Not laboring in jobs!!!!! If they want or need to work after the age of at least 15, then they CAN go to work, but it is not FORCED on them. Before the age of 15 they can work at jobs that pay them cash, like mowing lawns, babysitting, helping elderly with housework, washing cars, etc. (doing the jobs ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS DO.) We have laws to protect them from harsh labor, encouraging them to get their educations.

NO not fair.
Many countries practice it!
I think illegal labor of any kind is unfair.
America buys products from Asian countries that practice illegal child labor all the time.
I don't think we should buy their products. I don't think we should have illegal aliens in this country either working illegally!
As an American it's our duty to turn in anyone hireing illegal aliens!

I think this is the 21st century, you can use automation to enhance your production of most things...kids should be educated, not exploited. I think it's great experience to start working part-time jobs when you're 14 and up, but full-time work should wait until you're 17-18, and compulsory labor should be against the law, period. I don't even support prison labor...

interior the county it can't be unlawful yet we evaluate it unethical, in greater developed international places. one subject that desires to be regarded at is the age a new child leaves college, in that usa and is the guidance gadget unfastened. What with reference to the age of the youngster interior the united kingdom your no longer classed as an grownup till your 18 yet you could depart college and get an entire time pastime at sixteen. greater analyze into the labour regulations of the rustic would desire to be carried out with the intention to ascertain in the event that they are technically using a new child who could/could be in school. I recognize that's not the respond you wanted yet its appropriate to the certainty if as an occasion there is no longer guidance previous the age of 14 and that they hire a 14 year previous who would have left college is it precise to boycott the organization if its effortless training and via boycotting the products it would mean the worker isn't able to help himself. yet another subject to think approximately are the working circumstances and is it fare charge for the paintings, some circumstances are little greater desirable than slave labour and the youngsters are bought via the mothers and fathers, it is severe.

Yeah what is this -- a 19th century textile mill in Lowell, Mass? If you are a child you should be in school not working 60 hours a week. The only people who could support this must be pedophiles.
