Before starting medication, have you tried relaxation methods such as meditation, yoga, etc? We are a society that wants a quick fix...perhaps trying behavior modification would help you.

These are all very powerful drugs and like most RX's they are only good if they work for you AND you and tolerate the side effects. It sounds as if the side effects are too harsh for aquiring the desired result. Some other things you may look into are to look for allergies in your diet. If you really need to take the drugs then you need to work with your Dr. until you find the right drug at the right dose with the least amount of side effects. It takes a lot of time and effort but it will be worth it. Best of luck to you.

Strattera is the first and only non-stimulant medication approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the treatment of attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in children, adolescents, and adults.
If your doctor determines that Strattera is a good choice for you, ask your doctor about receiving a free sample.

u could have IBS-irritable bowel syndrome. those with ibs lack an enzyme in the gut that regulate the chemical serretonin in the brain...there are many of ibs sufferer's out there that don't know the connection.
if its not ibs but a true case of adhd, you might fair well with strettera-a non habit forming, non stimulant drug. the only down side to the meds is that it may raise your blood pressure.
good luck

Strattera. It is non-amphetamine and safe. It will make your head feel funny for a few days when you first start it but will get much better. Here's a place to read up on it: http://www.inhousepharmacy.com/neurological/atomoxetine.html

My cousin has ADHD, and he took Strattera, that worked better than his Adderal and Ritalin, he didn't need to take sleeping pills to fall asleep.

I wouldn't recommend any drugs, since none of them are really designed to help you get over your problem, but to make you dependent on the pharmaceutical industry for their profit. There are plenty of natural remedies out there which will work better than any drug.
