It is an autorun program I downloaded & can't find it in the add/remove programs section. I can find files & folders but there is no unistall program. Is it safe to delete it without causing problems.

The program is called: "autoruns" downloaded from sysinternals.com

Ok, did you refer to the documentation that came with the program?? I think there will be some mention of this in the Readme file or something similar included in the package. If it is just a single file then its safe to delete it just like that.

If the program is not listed in the Add/Remove, then it is probably safe to just delete the directory. At worst, if you get all kinds of errors, just reinstall. Afterwards, I would recommend you run a Registry Cleaner to remove any references in the registry to the program. My favorite is ccleaner (available from download.com). It is free.

look in add and remove for the company name that made it. if you delete the folder it's gonna look for that to start and it wont be there and then you'll get a warning message every time you restart
