I want to buy a digital frame as christmas pressie and need to know the good brands to buy??

Apart from Philips dont know any of the other brands...incuding a brand called Perfection and Matrix !!

I would suggest that that you stick with Philips, a well known name, and a nice frame, I've had one for about a year and a half now, loads of settings and a timer.

You can buy a TFT monitor and mount it yourself - its loads cheaper and you get a MUCH better quality display
