We work for the same company just different locations. He was my date for 2 of my friends weddings and I have been to his parents house for a card game. I really good friends with his sister and she even wants me to date her brother. We get along just great and always have a good time together.

it sucks that he's too chicken to make the first move. who knows, he's probably asking a yahoo question about the same thing right now!

i say go for it. sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. tell him, in a casual way, what you doing tonight/this weekend. tell him you were thinking about seeing that new denzel washington movie (i dont think its out yet, but any good horror or action flick), but you didnt want to watch it alone. make it sound kinda casual, like its more you guys hanging out to get to know each other, than a "date". movies are great first dates because you experience the same emotions together and can connect that way. talk about what he's been up to, general open-ended questions about his life, and make sure that he comes up with the idea for the next date. it doesnt have to be romantic, just a chance to be together and bond

thats just a suggestion, but whatever you come up with, make it casual and just do it

i had an intimate relationship with my bestfriend of 7 years, we always had a connection that was more than friends and it lasted only 3 months and completely ruined everything we had in a friendship because we crossed the boundries, you have to figure out if you value your friendship more than a relationship regardless off how you feel, thats the hard part. If you ask him out and you guys date and it doesnt work out can you handle the weird factor afterwards. your friendship afterwards (if there is an afterwards) will not be like it is now. good luck

I think you should ask him out. Since he has gone with you as your date to two weddings chances are he feels the same way about you. Good Luck!

YOU GO, GIRL! Have fun! Oftentimes the best relationships start out as friendships, sounds like a match, set and point to me! Enjoy!

Yeah, ask him out. Even if he says no, at least you tried. If you don't ask him out, you'll regret it! And if you havn't watched tv lately, you don't want to wait until he dates someone else. Go for it!
