If you break into my house when my wife, daughter and I are all asleep - I will cut you up, you will never reproduce or just die, it doesn’t bother me, I know enough to get away with it, might have to stage what happened and tell a few 'white' lies but I will walk free and you will be dead!

Now that may sound harsh, but if you break the law, why do you still have human rights?

Where were my rights when you robbed me?

Should illegal immigrants be granted any rights at all. Or just removed from the country even if they will be tortured back home?

The right of Average Joe, will always be defended, and all criminals will be judged by there peers in our independent judiciary. So no chance of miscarriages’ of justice then?

What do you think?

I suppose i am only talking in certain circumstances. Those are when the crime comitted infringes on other peoples human rights.

But by comiiting this crime you shouldn't be given 'equall' rights but a deminished level of 'human rights'.

i think that people who abuse children should be castrated but of course that is against their human rights but i think that it is against human rights to abuse a child. i think the same applies to all crimes and criminals. if you violate someone else's human rights than so should yours. people wouldnt be scared of this if they havent done anything wrong

Well first off the first part of your question would make you a criminal - murder is murder.

Everyone has human rights by dint of the fact that they are human and civilised society gives humans rights.

Your rights may be violated but an "eye for an eye" means that the punishment should never exceed the crime. You should get financial compensation for your loss and stress. That is it.

Illegal immigrants should never be sent back to countries which torture them. I once spoke to someone who sat handcuffed to a legal immigrant who was being deported due to an offence. Having got to know him over the very long mult-legged journey - when they arrived at their destination the prisoner was unhandcuffed, taken a few feet away and executed! Unbelievable and excruciating painful for the person to whom he had been handcuffed.

There are loads of innocent people in prison in America - and in the UK there are a fair few without a doubt too. So you pays your money and you take your choice of legal system by where you live.

I think what you are suggesting is sick and twisted - if people follow your suit theu will end up on murder charges too - not manslaughter (UK). You are showing the intention if you also commit the act that is sufficient for a murder conviction - both action and intention must be proved beyond doubt.

Well vigalante justice has a way of destroying innocent people

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ct/20061011/cr_ct/lawyerpleadsnotguiltytokillingneighborhesuspectedwasmolestinghistoddler

In this article a 2 year old girl accuses a neighbor of molesting her and her father breaks into the guys house and kills him. I have read since then that there is no evidence to support the claims of the 2 year old and that she is telling a different story now. You might say, "Well, he could have done it." However, does "could have" mean an instant death sentence without trial.

Do you want to kill people to preserve the "things" you have in your house? Does that mean that to you people's lives are not as important as your stuff? Does that mean you would kill people to get more stuff? Interesting, where does this taking lives to preserve ownership end?

How about this scenario? You wake up and see someone creeping around in your living room and you quickly jump up and grab a knife and slash the person's throat. Killed yourself an offender. Now turn on the light and see your son or daughter bleeding to death on the floor. That has happened before.

Yes you have a right to defend yourself, but that does not give you the privaledge of being an executioner. From what you have given here, I think that you do not believe anyone but yourself has rights and that you are just begging to have a chance to kill someone. I think you need professional help.

Answers to your 5 questions:

You still have human rights because you are a human.

You had rights when you were robbed. The person violated those rights and broke the law and is subject to the punishment dictacted by the law.

Illegal immigrants should have human rights, yes. They should be deported unless a waiver is won due to the torture you mention.

There is always a chance of a miscarriage of justice. Its not a fool proof system. But, I think it is a good one.

I think you are scary.

I think you are a very confused person. Human rights are not something you get as a bonus for being good, for being law-abiding! On the contrary, they are something you have by virtue of being human!

This is partly to prevent people like you thinking it is somehow fine to commit murder and lie about it, in retaliation for burglary!

Having human rights doesn't somehow give you a magic cloak that prevents anything untoward happening to you, it is simply a way of making sure that if anyone violates your rights, which you have by virtue of being human, then they will be held to account for that.

Human rights didn't prevent Jews going to the gas chambers, although they did ensure that the chief offenders were tried and punished. Without any idea of human rights the strong would always be justified in anything they wanted to do to the weak.

Without human rights as a universal notion applying to all of us, what is to stop someone from being fully justified in robbing you and killing your family because you broke the law in stepping into the road in front of his car and made him brake hard and swerve? As you said, "if you break the law why do you still have human rights?"

If you imagine the worst case that could happen to you and your family, where your possessions are forfeited, you are all threatened and tortured, and you flee the country and try to find somewhere safe to live elsewhere, I think you would then be pleading for someone to respect your human rights? The many people we hear of fleeing from injustice and oppression are in no different a position to this!

I hope this causes you to reconsider your position.

Depends on the crime. Speeding - obviously not. Murder? Perhaps - depends on the circumstances. Baby rapists? Definitely don't deserve any human rights - they sure as hell didn't consider the rights of their victim, so why should they be afforded any rights?

Illegals - Most illegals are desperate people just trying to make a living. On the other hand, they are breaking the law. I think they certainly deserve basic human rights, but not necessarily the same rights granted to Americans by our Constitution.

Do you think you're able to be a judge, jury and executioner all at a moments notice?

Don't you think people have a right to explain themselves first? Perhaps an activity that appears to be a crime, actually isn't and has a valid reason? Perhaps it's a child with learning difficulties & he/she has been bullied or forced to take a dare? Shouldn't we find out before you "cut them up"?

Also, it's stupid to say illegal immigrants can't have any rights. Perhaps they've had to leave political persecution or a war zone in an emergency? Imagine if a woman in her 20's and her 4 year old kid has escaped a Mafia gang in Eastern Europe that systematically raped her and beat her. Should we just send her back to be abused until she gives-up living?

Imagine if you' were lost somewhere and your children were starving and cold. Would you steal some bread or fruit from my shop to feed your childen? If so, can I kill you, just for putting your childrens health before my pocket-change size loss?

Now - stop trying to be the macho "cut you up" man from the safety of your home PC with your anonymous ID and be thankful that you live in a civilised society. It's what separates us from the animal kingdom.

I think it depends on what the crime is.

I totally agree with you if someone broke into my home then they'd know about it if I caught them; or if my wife or daughter got raped then I would kill them. I swear if anyone takes my daughter from me or hurts her I'd ******* kill them.

If anyone can murder anyone unless it was in self defence then yes hanging or the electric chair should be brought back. This country is too soft with punishment towards some criminals.

But as for petty crimes such as drugs then punishment should still be given as it sometimes is but it should be given in a worse way than just putting people in prison. Prison isn't much of a punishment; it's a holiday camp to some and some people can't wait to go back in when they get out because it's basically free board and lodging no worries or stress about keeping a roof over your head or putting food on the table or worrying about debt. You do have to work in there though and you do get paid a little. The hardest thing about prison is not getting on the wrong side of someone for no reason at all.

As for the immigrants then NO WAY should we allow them into this country. Why should we have to work and pay our taxes to keep the worlds unfortunate we should remove them from our country and send them back home; They’re not our problem let their countries government sort them out.

you now have committed murder 1 by the statement of getting away with it as you put it and if you think human rights dont include a fair trail then you would now be without basic human rights. good thing only you have this theory huh can you tell me what human rights are ? do you give any thought to the 15 % of those who are in prison falsely? that is 250,000 people who are not even guilty of a crime yet are labeled a criminal

You started with a reasonable question, then sort of lost it... people who commit crime should be given basic rights, food water, warm dry conditions, fair trial, no torture, legal advice etc.
This Country makes me wonder though with Ad's on TV saying "if you have over claimed (thats dishonesy and therefore theft) on your benefit let us know or you might have more to pay it back....... the Ad should read, if you have falsely claimed benefit and you get caught you will lose all benefit and have to get a job. This Country punishes the honest hard workers with stealth taxes to prop up the ponces !!

You are talking about Marshall Law, and humans aren't capable of meteing out justice without boundaries. Look at the trolls on here. There has to be rules, law and order. Secondly, you have the right to defend yourself and your family. But if someone breaks into your house and you are not there, how do you know who did it? So many people have been put to death wrongfully, and many have been punished wrongfully. So we have to have human rights for ALL humans. But I will agree that sometimes those rights are taken too far...
