Years ago in work a colleague gave me a sheet of paper entitled "Lose A Stone In A Week" which told you what to eat each day for seven days. I have since tried to find it on the internet to no avail and am desperate to find it or something similar.

Please do not inundate me with comments about how unhealthy this is, or how crash dieting never works, etc - this is nothing I haven't read a million times! If anyone can point me in the right direction to find this it would be much appreciated.

Despite SPECIFICALLY asking people not to reply with "don't do this, it's unhealthy" lots of people have done this!!! I am a freelance writer researching dieting/weighloss fads and seeking independent professional opinions on the associated health/nutitional benefits/dangers. THIS is why I am trying to get my hands on this one-week "miracle" diet, so please stop mothering me and only answer if you can help answer my question.

The only diet I know which shows a difference within a week is the vegetable soup diet or cabbage soup diet. You drink that for a week. Don't think you can lose a stone, I think you lose up to about 7lbs.

My mum tried it...within a couple of days she noticed the difference. She did it for a week and lost 6lbs. She's tried it a couple of times since and looks fab.

Just so you know, you drink the soup for a week and then take a break from it for another week.

Good Luck

Get beheaded ... It will be all liquid and solid waste and not body fat. The average person uses about 3000 calories in a day if they are VERY active. If you ate absolutely no nourishment for a week , that would be 1/2 a stone in seven days. (3000 calories are about a pound).
