Are my standards too high?

Question

Some of my friends say they are, just because I won't date fat girls. But listen! Before you get all judgemental on me, this is all I'm looking for in a girl physically; 1)she has to have a pretty face 2)she has to be relatively height/weight proportionate--if she's like 10-20 lbs over weight (just a little chubby) that's ok..I don't like the real skinny supermodel-type girls. 3)she has to have a nice butt

That's it! Is that really too much to ask for?

its not too much to ask for, but what about personality? everyone has their idea of a perfect match. And you say you wouldnt want a fat girl, but at the same time your not expecting her to be skinny. Your ideas of a pretty face/nice butt will probably be different to what people think you mean by thhis, so dont worry.

I wouldnt say that that is too much to ask for, but what you need to realize is that your soul mate, the love of your life, may be a girl that is 25 lbs overweight, and what you are doing by not dating any of them based on their weight is taking away the opportunity of falling in love.

Hey there I do not blame you for not wanting someone over weight I know they need loving too, and I know alot of people who really like over weight people, I have higher standards then you, I think there not that high of a standard, and I would be telling your friends if you do not like my prefrences ya can kiss my as* cause really its me that is looking to be with them forever not them, and I would like to have someone who fits my prefrences and make my life better and not make me want to go out and get me something some where else, just cause my friends told me to lower my standards.

You can set standards and have a taste for the type of person you are attracted to - - just know that you may pass up the love of your life one day just because they don't fall into that category.

Everybody has there perfect someone in their minds. It is nothing wrong with that but sometimes you have to give. If she is big that really should not matter, its her personality. No one you date is going to be perfect. Try dating a girl you would not normally date because of her physical features you might actually like her personality and once you like that its not going to matter what she looks like.

I know this sounds corny but what matters is on the inside now now listen to the rest. I was looking for a abbalitous cowboy and ended up falling in love with a line-man. I'm a lil girl not big at all and he's over 260lbs. but i love him with all my heart so what counts is how you are together. You never know how someone is untill you take the time to get to know them after you get to that point you just might find they are the rite person for you.

We all have our own standards. And honestly, yours aren't too high. It's acceptable. What's overboard is aside from the above, you're looking for qualities that simply does not exist in one single person.
